The starting package is a Directed DS3 or DS3P installation using your factory remote, for a compatible standard vehicle. TDS selects the correct module for your vehicle. Diesel, hybrid, electric and push-button start do not add a surcharge. Manual transmission adds $130 and requires a 4- or 5-button remote add-on. When a listed T-harness is available, it is standard equipment and its price is added to the package. Selected remotes and optional upgrades are additional. TDS reviews the equipment and vehicle compatibility after purchase.
Compatibility depends on your exact year, make, model, trim, ignition and selected equipment. The vehicle choices use Directechs application listings. Listed CANFD and BP1 interfaces and the matching T-harness are automatically added when required. You can pay for your selected package online; TDS then reviews the exact harness, firmware and DS3 / DS3P hardware. We’ll contact you about any changes, or refund the order if installation cannot be completed.
Compatible systems can offer factory-remote control with a Directed DSM550 SmartStart Pro module. SmartStart requires a separate subscription and supported cellular coverage. Subscription charges are not included in your installation package.
